Most of the website owe their failure to their high bounce rate which is something which every webmaster wants to minimize. The Bounce Rate of your website depends on its speed. Slower the speed of the website, higher will be its bounce rate and vice versa. In order to check the speed of your website, you can rely on Google PageInsights Tool which ranks your website on a scale of 100. A score of 85 and above is considered to be great.

Along with ranking your website, GooglePage Insights tool also suggests you the measures which you should adopt in order to make your website fast. Alone with the suggestions, it also tells you that which are the issues you need to fix on an instant basis and which are the ones you may or may not fix.

Google classifies these issues into three parts: red exclamation point which refers to the issues which must be fixed on an instant basis, yellow exclamation point which refers to the issues which you may or may not fix and green check mark which means that your page is great in terms of speed. You can use this tool to measure the speed of your webpages on mobile phones as well as Personal Computers.

Your website should not take more than 5-10 seconds to load irrespective of the device which is being used to visit it. There are still many mobile phones which don’t support flash so, you should stay away from it and you should either use no images at all on your websites or you should use just a few of them and their resolution should not be high. Your website should work well even when your users don’t have access to high-speed Internet.
