Clicking Traffic Sources > Social > Overview will provide a rundown of all social networks that are bringing traffic to your site. This gives you an overview of number of visits via social referral in comparison to total visits, the total number of visits from each network and the percentage of traffic from each network. Having a total data at your display you can easily make out which social media network is performing in comparison to others. You can also opt for change in your marketing strategies.

For example your business is driving 40 percent traffic by face book, 20 percent by twitter and 10 percent by Google+ and the others are comprising of 30 percent traffic. Now by just clicking to “Network Referrals” will land you with more information like total page views, average visit duration of pages per visit. Similarly “Clicking Visitors Flow” also gives you information about your visitors as to which page they are on your website and from which social networks.

This data can be really worth estimating as it gives you a perfect idea of which networks are working and which really needs efforts to be put in while the ones which should be discarded completely.
