The web page’s main keywords should be tried to use at least 15 times on a page. Do assure that the flow is normal and do not “stuff” keywords as the search engine may penalize your site by banning your pages.

It’s all about keywords

Search engines require readable text and any old text will just not work. The text on each page needs to be properly formatted and emphasized on keywords.

There are many opportunities to optimize a web page for particular keywords. Here are some of them.

  • Keywords in heading tags (H1 tags for primary headings, H2 and H3 for lower level headings)
  • Keywords mentioned in the body text. Do not focus on keyword density. Just make sure it looks normal and you are not over doing it.
  • Emphasize on the keywords and include them in bullet, bold or in italics form.
  • Try to use the keywords in the images’ alt tags on the pages.
  • Keywords should be used in url links to other pages within your site

Here is an example, an image alt tag that resembles like this is fine:

<img alt=”running shoes” src=”https://www.nike.com/athletic-shoe-iages/running-shoes.jpg”>

However stuffing a number of keywords into the alt tag is just not to be done and should be avoided.

keyword-stuffing

<img alt=” running shoes, best running shoes, discount running shoes, running shoes, choosing running shoes, running shoes reviews, running shoes ratings” src=”https://www.nike.com/athletic-shoe-iages/running-shoes.jpg”>

When you are designing a search engine optimized page content for your website, be sure and remember that it is all about keywords.
