Email marketing is a great marketing strategy. Its directly marketing a commercial message to a community or a group of people using email. In a more broader sense, every mail sent to a potential customer can be termed as email marketing.

  1. Treat it like a product– It is as going for the “language market fit” that is important. It is the precise language that that you should be using to grab the attention of your future customers. It should be in the market even before the product experiments can begin. It is also known as the “customer discovery phase.”
  2. Make it about them– Mostly the mails are focused on the features of the product. Today every one is accomplished with 3-4 problems at a given time. If your message doesn’t address one of them your mails are of no use. You should not be talking about your product or its greatness but you should be more relevant in solving their problems better than anyone else.   4. Keep it short– With mobiles so much in trend keep your mails short and informative. No one is interested in reading bulky mails. The first few characters in the mail should be powerful enough to convey your message and intentions.
  5. Keep it real– Visuals are always exciting and a good way to illustrate concepts. Since your emails are mostly going to be accessed on phone flashy visuals are a big turn off.
